ch 20,21,22,23

Chapter 21,22,23, This week reading was interesting learning about the war and how the Europeans believed the war would be done soon yet it took about four years before ending in German. It was interesting to read how the war brought the Europeans and Americans social and cultural change. The returning veterans had a hard time turning into civilians again for they had experience horrible things. It was interesting to read how the government tried to accommodate them. I feel this is still very common many people who go to war have a hard time adapting I think psychologically they will never be the same. Everyone has a story and that reflects what they saw and what they felt being away from such a long time in war. It was interesting to read how the war really change the way things were once. It took a huge transformation in politics as well. During the world war 2 the war really had a global conflict with the independent origins with Asia and Europe. The second war was the most ...

Reading 16,17,18,19

Reading about the connections that the various Atlantic revolutionaries shared was interesting and reading that the Atlantic basin had become a world of intellectual and cultural exchange.it was interesting to see how this idea were driven from the European enlightenment and it was shared across the ocean through newspaper and books. It’s interesting to me to read this thing because I really get to see how much history has changed or how in a way it still remains the same. I really enjoyed reading the French revolution in depth and see how everything started because I remember in high school studying about it, but I didn’t really remember a lot. I found it interesting how the social conflicts gave the French Revolution a much more violent,far-reaching and radical character compare to the American who was its counterpart.it was nice to read about the gender roles, in the French revolution and how Strayer mentions that it didn’t not create a new society for female po...

Chapter 13,14,15

Reading chapter 13,14,15 Chapter 13 was very interesting learning hoe from 1450-1750 was the age of empire building and how the European colonies were massively significant at that time really liked the fact that I go to read how old societies were destroyed and new societies arose. It was interesting to see how the early modern era shows a new stage for globalization .It really reminded me of my social class. Social inequality class because we got to learn about globalization throughout history it’s interesting to read the first stages of globalization. Through the reading I got to learn how European states and its trading companies really brought resources. I really enjoyed reading about the demographic collapse of the Native Americans societies. And how Strayer mentions that the pre-Colombian population of the western hemisphere was substantial to perhaps 60 to 80 million. It’s crazy to me how the diseases brought form Europe and Africa killed the Native Americans almost up to...
